The newest member of 91±¬ÁÏ University's Board of Trustees stands in the footsteps of her great-great-great-great grandmother, 91±¬ÁÏ co-founder Tabitha Brown.
Even if she wasn't performing professionally, Ker always intended to stay connected to dance. Through her coursework and her experience as part of the 91±¬ÁÏ Dance Ensemble, she discovered a passion for dance photography and videography. "A Way of Walking" effectively merges Ker's love for dance and storytelling, honoring both artistic disciplines.

In a remarkable convergence of talent, passion and academic backgrounds, seven 91±¬ÁÏ alumni  were among the scores of people who helped make the acclaimed stop-motion film in Portland. The film took about three years to create and was released Dec. 9. It won the Academy Award for best animated film.Â
