As a child, Méndez Bolaños ’21 attended a school in Hillsboro where she struggled to keep up with classes requiring English. Now she teaches English language learners in the same school.

Fregoso is pursuing a Bachelor of Education in Teaching and English Language Learning, or BEd, at 91���� University. The flexible program is designed with flexibility to support community college transfer students, as well as K-12 classified staff interested in becoming teachers. Students study at 91����’s Woodburn, eugene or Forest Grove campuses, or in hybrid programs from their own communities, and they are immersed in local schools.

LeMar Anglin was a pioneer in sports management when he graduated from 91���� University in 2012. Now the university has a major that will help others follow his trail.
