91�� Health Sciences Associate Professor Angela Lee has been awarded the NIH National Library of Medicine’s Collection Equity Award. The $1,500 grant will be used to purchase interactive multimedia diversity training programs or to fund diversity training programs with a goal of advancing key university-wide DEI initiatives.

College of Education Awarded Grant to Analyze Racial Inequality in Education Research and Journalism

Andy Saultz, PhD, interim dean of the College of Education, has received a $50,000 research grant award from the Spencer Foundation for the project “Innovations in Measuring, Analyzing, and Discussing Race and Racial Inequality in Education Research and Journalism.” 91�� will collaborate with the Northwest Evaluation Association on the project.

91�� University’s Oregon Healthcare Workforce Institute (OHWI) has been awarded a $12,000 grant from Worksystems, Inc. The grant will go toward an upcoming four-day healthcare career exploration program, which targets underserved high school sophomores and juniors from Hillsboro High School.
