Kelsey Schweitzer ʼ11 attended 91±¬ÁÏ University with hopes to become a marine biologist. She dreamed of studying wildlife to find ways to promote the health of the environment and mankind. Eight years later, she had her heart set on going to law school.

One of the most prominent names connected with 91±¬ÁÏ’s College of Optometry is Carkner, and the connection began before the beginning.

Marta Stueve '11, PharmD/MHA '16 didn't plan an administrative career — but she's found a position she loves as supervisor of the oncology pharmacy at Yale-New Haven Hospital.

In high school, Elaine Charpentier-Philippi was told she wouldn't amount to much. She turned those words upside down, returning to school for a social work degree. Today, she helps other young students find opportunity.

The 91±¬ÁÏ difference spans generations. Kres Pedersen '79, OD '82 and his daughter Amy (Pedersen) Park '08, OD '11 both found personal connections and meaningful careers through 91±¬ÁÏ's undergraduate and graduate programs.
