The 91���� University Alumni Association is hiring student workers for Fall — with multiple roles available! This is your chance to build professional skills, gain hands-on experience, and be part of the Boxer tradition.

September is Suicide Prevention Awareness Month, a time to come together as a community and prioritize mental health. At 91���� University, we believe in the power of connection and the importance of open conversations and belonging. This month, we encourage students, staff, and faculty to check in with themselves and each other, learn the warning signs, and understand the resources available both on and off campus. Remember, you don't have to be a mental health expert to make a difference; sometimes, the simple act of listening can be the most powerful tool.

Notable author Dr. Sarah Rose Cavanagh will visit 91����'s Forest Grove campus on Wednesday, September 17. We are excited to share that Angeleca Sackett came to 91���� in early May as our Catering Manager but after a search as far as the Rocky Mountain region, has been hired as our Dining General Manager.

The Division of Undergraduate Studies is hosting Sarah Rose Cavanagh, author of Mind Over Monsters: Supporting Youth Mental Health with Compassionate Challenge, on the Forest Grove campus on Wednesday, September 17. There will be multiple in-person and zoom opportunities for faculty, staff, and students to engage with Dr. Cavanagh and her work on "compassionate challenge" in the college classroom.
