
Areas I Teach
Sehan Kim is an assistant professor of accounting at 91±¬ÁÏ University. His research explores the role of accounting information in corporate governance, executive compensation, and capital markets. Dr. Kim received his PhD in Accounting from University of Pittsburgh. He also holds a MS in Statistics from Purdue University, and a BA in Applied Statistics from Yonsei University.
Before entering academia, he was an equity analyst with Citigroup and Morgan Stanley covering financial institutions and consumer sectors in Asia 91±¬ÁÏ and South Korea. He was also an associate market strategist with Citigroup.
Dr. Kim currently teaches Advanced Accounting and Managerial Accounting. He previously taught Intermediate Accounting, Accounting Theory & Research, and Principles of Financial Accounting at University of Houston - Clear Lake and State University of New York at Fredonia.
